Broadfield Systems publishes research on businesses that own the physical forces behind our world. Mining, energy, industrials, and shipping. It also covers special situations outside that range when the analysis is strong enough to justify it as a short term situation.

The work is built on primary sources. Company filings, government data, regulatory dockets, and industry research rather than secondhand summaries. Every figure shows where it came from. Every thesis states what would prove it wrong.

The focus is narrow on purpose. Companies that few analysts follow, businesses the market has classified incorrectly, and industries where the capital cycle has turned before anyone noticed.
